All women are invited to attend this enlightening program highlighting the legacy of the Tulsa Chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women, founders of The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges (formerly known at the Center for The Physically Limited) in 1957. Family members of the founders will share their memories of how these women invested their time, energy, and money to create The Center, and other organizations, to address much needed social services for the growing city of Tulsa. Snacks, beverages, and schmoozing start at 6 pm, the program begins at 7 pm.
Wendi Fralick, Executive Director of The Center will give her personal impact statement about the role of The Center and its many activities.
Community member Jennifer Joels will share her experiences at The Center and the impact it has made in her recovery over the past one and half years.
