
To satisfy the requirements of the SB 1671, which makes Holocaust education available to every Oklahoma student grades 6-12, we will be presenting duplicate workshops June 15, 2023 in Oklahoma City and June 16, 2023 in Tulsa. These workshops will be geared to both beginning and experienced teachers at no cost.
The goal is to support teachers in sharing the important lessons of the Holocaust with students to promote an understanding of how these lessons apply to our current society with prejudice, apathy, and hatred of the “other” still creating chaos in our world. Students will learn the importance of resilience as well as respect for others in our everyday lives. Participants will be given 7 professional development credits for attending the conference.
For convenience, the same workshop will be offered in two separate locations on two different days:
